Nicholas Paulicelli

Nicholas Paulicelli is the Executive Vice President of Premier Mechanical Services, a commercial/industrial based mechanical company that has contributed to the HVAC systems of nearly every hospital, university, school district and airport on Long Island; as well as many located in the five boroughs.  Nick has worked for Premier Mechanical since 2005, while attending Local 638, The Steamfitters Union, apprenticeship program, which he successfully completed in 2009 graduating with an Associate’s Degree and as a certified welder.

Prior to joining Local 638, Nick graduated from Lindenhurst Senior High School with honors in 2007 and entered the 5-year NYS joint apprenticeship program the following year. While working for Premier,Nick continued taking various trade and engineering classes, furthering his education in the Mechanical Field, providing him the knowledge to move into the more technical aspects of the business.  He has engineered many large public projects, enabling the State, along with various municipalities, to move forward with projects that otherwise would not have commenced due to funding and design issues.

Nick specializes in healthcare design & construction. During the COVID-19 crisis, Nick played a critical role in providing safe, filtered air for hospital staff working in contained COVID areas at several major hospitals on Long Island.  He designed air filtration systems to keep not only the hospital staff safe, but to help prevent the spread of infection to non-covid hospital patients. Nick also holds various safety and engineering certifications as well as being licensed with several Long Island municipalities and the county for both HVAC and electrical.
