On April 17, 2018 the Long Island Chapter of the US Green Building Council was pleased to host the kickoff meeting of the LI Electric Vehicle Coalition, with support from PSEG Long Island. Based on the enthusiastic turnout and positive dialogue that took place, we were confident that the time was right to form a coordinated body to move the needle on EV adoption in our region.

Drive Electric Long Island is now thriving and has several active committees, including infrastructure, education and outreach, and a new fleet committee starting in 2023.
