April Green Scene
This month's Green Scene is on Wednesday April 27th @ 5:30pm at the Viana Hotel in Westbury.
Join us at our monthly chapter meeting called The Green Scene. This new format combines a monthly chapter update, informative program, and meet and greet/ networking event for members and professionals to share ideas with other chapter members and the board of directors.
Mitchell Pally of MTA and Dave Kapell of Right Track for Long Island Coalition will start with a discourse on the status and impact of the LIRR Third Track Project.
National Grid will give a brief presentation about their Energy Efficiency Programs for 2016.

Louis Rizzo, Lead Program Manager of National Grid's Energy Efficiency Programs will follow with a presentation about their programs.
National Grid has a long history of working with their customers and local communities to empower them with energy efficiency solutions to help save energy and money while protecting the environment. They offer a host of energy efficiency cash incentives on qualifying high efficiency equipment and other energy saving measures for their residential, commercial and multifamily gas heating customers. Learn about the new 2016 incentive programs that are available to their NYC and LI customers.
Louis Rizzo is the Lead Program Manager of the National Grid Gas Energy Efficiency Commercial and Multifamily programs in New York City and Long Island service areas. National Grid offers energy efficiency commercial, industrial, multifamily and residential programs. The programs are designed to help National Grid existing gas heating or oil to gas conversion customer with reducing their energy usage and incremental costs when installing new qualifying energy efficiency measures. Prior to managing the energy efficiency programs he held various rolls within the customer marketing area, gas growth division, business development and other customer growth areas of National Grid. Over the last few years, Mr. Rizzo has been a guest speaker at various long island builder institute (LIBI), plumbing associations and other trade association events teaching about high efficiency products and associated benefits. Mr. Rizzo holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Adelphi University, Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from St. John’s University
