A Walkthrough of LEEDv4.1 O+M: Approved for 1.0 GBCI CE
LEED v4.1 is an incremental update to the LEED rating systems. LEED v4.1 will be our most inclusive and transparent rating system to date. That’s because our most important requirement for adoption will come from our most valuable resource of all—you! As a first step in launching LEED v4.1, we’ve released a beta version of the LEED rating system for Existing Buildings.
This presentation walks through why we're releasing LEED v4.1, what it will deliver, and go into details on LEED v4.1 for Existing Buildings. We'll walk through LEED v4.1 Operations + Maintenance: Existing Buildings, exploring the rating system structure, how it's evolved from LEED v4, and how projects use performance data to achieve LEED certification.
A USGBC-LI staff member will be checking the registration sheet to determine if member registrees are USGBC-LI members. If you're not sure if your membership is still active, contact Daniel Busi at DBusi@usgbc-li.org. If you would like to become a member, click here!
LEED Green Associates and LEED APs are specialists in today’s sustainable building standards and marketplace. They are knowledgeable about emerging technologies, current industry research and environmental trends. Like all LEED professionals, LEED Green Associates and LEED APs must maintain their credentials by earning continuing education (CE) hours. These must be earned within two years of obtaining the credential. CE hours can be earned in a variety of ways, including project participation, online courses on the Education @USGBC platform and attendance at CE-approved events from GBCI and Local USGBC Chapters.
