Joe Doolan is Head of Environmental Affairs for TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank. In this role, Joe leads TD’s environmental initiatives, working closely with executives and business partners as well as the bank’s 26,000 employees across the U.S. to embed environment into TD’s business operations. In addition, he engages external stakeholders to advance the environmental health and wellness of TD’s local communities while promoting the value of natural capital. With nearly a decade of financial services experiences, Joe understands the importance of environmental responsibility as he focuses on TD’s goal to be the environmental leader.
Prior to his role as Head of Environmental Affairs, Joe held a variety of roles within TD Bank, including Retail Market Manager and Store Manager in the Greater New York City area. Joe has held multiple roles in other financial services industries before joining TD in 2007.
For more than 20 years, Joe has partnered with community leaders to make positive changes and enhance the quality of life in local neighborhoods. As a board member for The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2014, Joe played an active role in launching The Young Entrepreneurs Academy, promoting Small Business start-up thinking and actions for high school students. As a longstanding committee member, Joe recently established the annual TD Bank Green Building Award, given to the most sustainable building designers each year.
Joe earned his Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University and holds a bachelor degree in Human Resource Management from Binghamton University.
