David Macedonio, PE
Mr. Macedonio, Chief Executive Officer, has over 25 years of professional engineering experience which includes planning, design and project management for infrastructure and site development projects within the Tri-State region. He is also an accomplished leader in the engineering profession and works closely with local stakeholders and policy makers to provide guidance for current and future infrastructure investments.
He spent 9 years working at LKB as a Civil/Structural Engineer earlier in his career and has returned 15 years later to perform in an executive role as CEO. In addition to being appointed CEO at LKB, he has many years of experience with the leading and development of engineering staff, office operations, multidiscipline project teams, and business development teams for engineering services throughout the New York area. His strong leadership skills along with his technical background in planning, design and construction of roadways, bridges, railways, transportation facilities, site development, green infrastructure, energy, utilities, and flood protection allow him to be an influential adviser and leader for driving new growth opportunities for Long Island and the surrounding area.
Mr. Macedonio is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and is recognized as an accomplished engineer in the industry. He was awarded the ACEC 2015 NYC Platinum Award for Highway Project – Project Manager, MTA B&T Verrazano Toll Plaza Improvements; the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Long Island Branch 2011 Frank Patti Award; and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE) 2009 Service Award. In addition, he has given technical project presentations at NYSSPE and New York State Association of Transportation Engineers (NYSATE) conferences.
