This month's Green Scene is on May 18th @ 6:00pm at the Viana Hotel in Westbury.

Join us at our monthly chapter meeting called The Green Scene. This event combines a monthly chapter update, informative program, and meet and greet/ networking event for members and professionals to share ideas with other chapter members and the board of directors.

Robert Fischman, Director of Energize NY's Commercial Program will give a brief presentation about Energize New York PACE Finance. SUNation's solar finance experts will provide valuable information on tax credits, Net Metering, PACE Financing and how commercial solar can actually create cash flow. There has never been anything like this before and the clock is ticking. Don't miss it!

Energize NY PACE Finance is coming to Long Island. With Suffolk County passing the required enabling legislation late last year, expect PACE capital to be available in the Spring of 2016.

What is PACE?

PACE stands for Property Assessed Clean Energy. The use of Energize NY “PACE” Finance for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects is sweeping New York State and already is offered in 31 other states. NYSERDA supports and endorses Energize NY (PACE) Finance for clean energy projects.

How does PACE work?

Energize NY (PACE) Finance helps project developers and contractors close energy efficiency and renewable energy projects by offering competitive rates and long terms without the need for traditional consumer credit checks.

Energize NY, www.EnergizeNY.org, is a mission-driven, local development corporation that works with its member municipalities and building owners across NY State to unlock energy savings in their buildings, saving money, fuel and greenhouse gas emissions. Energize NY drives demand for clean energy upgrades to existing buildings through community-based marketing and outreach, building owner support and by providing affordable and accessible project financing.
